The service

Your Personal Driver ("YPD") is a private ride service. Booking, live ride tracking, driver messaging, payment, and receipts are provided through this website. Rides are performed by your personal driver, with whom you book directly. YPD is not a marketing service and does not send promotional or third-party messages.

Text messaging program terms

Program name: Your Personal Driver ride updates.

Program description: This is a customer care and account notification program. When you book a ride with your driver and provide your mobile number, you agree to receive text messages about your own rides from Your Personal Driver. Booking confirmations, driver on the way, arrival, pickup and drop-off updates, a link to your live tracking page, payment links, and receipts. We do not send marketing, promotional, or advertising messages, and we never send messages on behalf of any other business.

How you opt in: You provide your mobile number directly to your driver when arranging a ride, either on the booking page at app.yourpersonaldriver.org/join, where the number field carries a notice that the number will be used for ride status text messages, or by phone, text, or in person when you arrange the ride with your driver. Messages are only ever sent about rides you booked.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies by ride, typically 3 to 8 messages per booked ride.

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard message and data rates apply to messages you send and receive.

To opt out, reply STOP to any message from us at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages. Reply START to opt back in.

Opting out does not cancel a booked ride. Your driver will contact you directly instead.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy and your mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties. We do not sell, rent, or trade your phone number or your consent. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Bookings and payment

Prices are quoted per ride and confirmed by you before the ride is booked.
Payment is due at drop-off by the methods shown on your payment page.
Cancellations should be made as early as possible by message or phone.
