Your Personal Driver ("YPD", "we", "us") is a private ride service operated by an independent professional driver. This policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and how it is protected. It applies to this website and to our text messaging program.

Information we collect

Contact information. Your name and mobile phone number, and an email address if you give one.
Ride information. Pickup and drop-off addresses, dates and times, and optional details such as flight numbers or gate codes.
Communications. Messages you exchange with your driver through the ride page or by text.
Location information. During an active ride, your driver's live location is shown to you. We do not track your location.

How we use it

To schedule, perform, and complete the rides you book.
To show you live ride status on your personal tracking page.
To send you text messages about your own rides. Booking confirmations, driver on the way, arrival, drop-off, payment links, and receipts.
To produce a receipt for a completed ride and keep accurate business records.

SMS and mobile information sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or lease your personal information or your mobile phone number to anyone. Your consent to receive text messages from Your Personal Driver is used only to send you messages about your own rides, and is never transferred, sold, or shared with any other business, affiliate, partner, or marketing service.

The only parties who ever handle your information are the service providers we use to operate the service, for example our text messaging provider and our hosting provider. They process it solely to deliver our messages and run our website, on our instructions, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Your choices

Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. Reply START to resume, or HELP for help.
Opting out of texts does not cancel a booked ride. Your driver will contact you directly instead.
You can ask us to correct or delete your information at any time using the contact below.

Data retention and security

Ride records are kept so your driver can serve you as a returning client and keep accurate business records. Payment card numbers are never stored by us. Information is removed on request.

Children

This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. A minor may be a passenger on a ride booked by their parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the effective date above is updated and the current version is always published at this address.
